Change Your Mind. Change Your Life. Change Your World.
Letting go of Limiting Programs with Mindjoga Daily Journalling
|There are two main things which cause our emotional pain:
Conflict between the conscious and the unconscious parts of our mind
The thwarted wanting of our pretty pictures.
Mindjoga deals to both of these.
Conflict between the conscious and the unconscious parts of our mind:
The Mindjoga Daily Journal Sheet is designed to guide you through a process to ''beat your subconscious'', or, if you cast your mind back to your ''About EQUILIBRIUM'' audio, to beat the submerged part of your ice-berg where the 90% subconscious mind continually sabotages the conscious 10% which is dilligently attempting to make changes in your life.
This is why we often refer to the Daily Journal Sheet as our BEET your BERG sheet.
During the EQUILIBRIUM stage of Mindjoga we practice our 4-Step Process and then journal our experiences:
Beginning with the
Event which evokes strong
Emotion and we look for the
Thought which triggered it and the
Belief which sits behind that thought and how your
Eye's lens is looking at the event so we can
Reset our thinking from conditioned to reality in order to
This process sets many personal development systems apart because it provides a very simple solution to re-program the limiting beliefs which hold us back.
The thwarted wanting of our pretty pictures
When we continually refer back to our pretty hypnosis picture and do not like what we see; we react in one or all of three ways:
1. We feel that our life is somehow going wrong
(but in reality life is a journey and everything is exactly as it is meant to be right now)
2. We feel that we are missing out on the parts of the picture we don't have in our lives
(but we are NEVER missing out. We are always learning and growing)
3. And we feel that we ourselves, or someone else should have done better or different
(But for ANYONE to do something differently would take different information, which is only just being learned through the pain that we feel now)
The MindjogaDaily Journal sheet takes our conditioned thought and brings it into reality by asking one simple question:
''Would the belief you hold ALWAYS be 100% true for EVERYONE on the planet faced with the same event or situation"
In answering this question we establish whether we need to re-affirm to change our programming or take some physical action in order to stop the same stress trigger occurring in future.
Once we know which, changing the stress trigger becomes easy.
Here are two examples:
EXAMPLE 1 You are stuck in traffic on the way to work:
Beginning with the
Event: you are stuck in traffic on the way to work
Emotion: frustration/fear/worry; oh no....
Thought: I'm going to be late for work
Belief: maybe I could lose my job because of this.
Eye's lens: might be 1)''I should have left earlier''... and 2)''I will be missing out on everything money can buy''..
Reset to: 1) The only way I could have done anything different was to have the information I am only now learning - that there is bad traffic. I could not have known that any earlier, and 2) we are never missing out on anything; we are always learning and growing.
Grow. 'Would the belief you hold ALWAYS be 100% true for EVERYONE on the planet faced with the same event or situation?
Answer: NO -therefore re-affirm:
1) I did my very best with the information I had at the time. and 2) My job is secure; this is a one-off unavoidable incident which could not have been forseen or avoided.
Add these affirmations to your list of affirmations to use in our Mindjoga AWAKENING Meditation
EXAMPLE 2: Your Partner has struck you:
Beginning with the
Event: During an argument your partner strikes you across the face.
Emotion: Shock, deep hurt
Thought: He/she should not have hit me.
Belief: Men/Women should not hit anyone, especially the one you love.
Eye's lens: I or He/she should have done something different.
Reset: We could only have done something different with different information BEFORE the event.
Grow: 'Would the belief you hold ALWAYS be 100% true for EVERYONE on the planet faced with the same event or situation?
Answer: YES -therefore move away either temporarily or permanently from the stressor.
